SC GLOBAL TO BUILD SINGAPORE’S FIRST TRULY BEACHFRONT CONDOMINIUM

SINGAPORE, 31 July 2007 – Sentosa Cove awarded Trollius Pte Ltd – a wholly owned subsidiary of SC Global Developments Ltd – yesterday Singapore’s first opportunity to build a condominium right on a beach by way of its Beachfront Collection, located beside the pristine waters of Sentosa’s Tanjong Beach.

With its highest bid of $1,799.78psf/ppr – another new benchmark for Sentosa Cove – SC Global Developments Ltd has officially won the tender for The Beachfront Collection, Sentosa Cove’s penultimate condominium land parcel.

In a tender that closed on 24 July, Sentosa Cove received five bids, all of which exceeded the last benchmark of $1,361.3psf/ppr, achieved for its Seaview Collection.

The Seaview Collection is the second condominium parcel in the Southern Precinct – which was awarded to a joint venture between Ho Bee Investments and IOI Land S’pore Pte Ltd in March this year.

The Beachfront Collection is Sentosa Cove’s second-last condominium site – one that offers developers the first and only opportunity to conceptualize and build a truly unprecedented development situated right beside Sentosa’s pristine Tanjong Beach with superb views of the sea, the Southern islands and the Tanjong Golf Course’s lush green fairways. 

It is envisaged that a 4-storey condominium offering up to a maximum of 88 luxury apartments will emerge.
