Sentosa Cove Launches the Only Land Parcel for Development of Strata Landed Housing

SINGAPORE, 17 July 2007 – As sales of its land parcels near completion, Sentosa Cove will launch its only land parcel for strata landed housing in an Expressions of Interest which commences tomorrow.

A first for Sentosa Cove since it was launched in 2003, developers will be given the flexibility to design and develop either strata terrace, semi-detached or detached houses – all of which with shared recreational facilities.

“Sentosa Cove is indeed a dream setting – not just for its residents, some of whom have moved in, but also for developers. Nowhere else in Singapore would they be able to design and develop homes with unsurpassed views of the Tanjong Fairways set against such an idyllic resort background,” Ms Kemmy Tan, Deputy General Manager of Sentosa Cove.

“With only limited bungalow parcels left for retail sales at Sentosa Cove, this is an excellent opportunity for developers to offer boutique developments to cater to the unfailing growing demand,” Ms Tan added.

Known as The Green Collection, this 71,589.21sq ft land parcel is set against the lush greenery of Sentosa Golf Club's famed Tanjong Course. With a plot ratio of one, developers can choose to build a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 20 homes with common recreational facilities, which may include a swimming pool or gymnasium. All homes will boast views of the golf fairways and will be surrounded by verdant knolls.

Foreigners will be eligible to purchase these strata landed homes as Sentosa Cove has been granted waivers for foreign ownership on residential land.

The reserve price has been set at $49,250,000 or $688psf per plot ratio.

Currently, over 89 per cent of Sentosa Cove has been sold with over 120 families having moved into their new homes.
